The CompanyAustralian 4WD Academy is a Registered Training Organisation and conducts nationally accredited driver and rider training. As well as specializing in Four Wheel Drive and All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) courses, we also offer motor cycle riding and defensive driver training courses. The company is based in Broken Hill in western New South Wales. It is owned and operated by Michael and Joanne McCulkin who also operate Tristate Safaris, an award winning company specializing in small group outback tours. Tristate is the only business in Broken Hill to have achieved the status of Nationally Accredited Tourism Business. Michael has formal qualifications in a number of areas including driver training, emergency management, search and rescue and workplace training. These skills, combined with many years of experience in outback patrolling, set the Australian 4WD Academy apart when it comes to knowledgeable, expert training.
